Spotted: 4 Celebrities Who Wore Bee Jewellery

Let’s face it–sometimes we just don’t “get” celebrity fashion.

Trends in fashion and jewellery come and go, but some are timeless. One such trend is animal themed jewellery. It’s something women of all ages and backgrounds can easily agree on.

In addition to jewellery designs featuring horses, dogs, and other popular animals, we’re seeing a lot of bee jewellery this year.

What’s the story with bee jewellery? And who’s been spotted wearing it? Read on to find out!

Bee Symbolism

More than just being cute flying creatures, bees are a vital part of earth’s ecosystem.

In fact, dozens of your favourite foods, including blueberries, apples, and cherries, would disappear if bees ever went extinct! This is because of the bee’s vital role in pollinating different plants and flowers.

Because of their busy habits, bees are associated with productivity and balance. They know how to work hard, but they also take time to stop and smell the roses–literally.

Those who look to bees as their spirit or totem animal can expect to gain balance and purpose in their lives. Bees are incredible builders, team players, and miracle workers.

Whether you’re looking for a spirit animal or you just love the way they look, you can showcase your admiration for bees through bee jewellery. Here are four celebrities who got it right.

1. Jo Whiley

Presenter Jo Whiley was recently spotted wearing a traditional gold bumblebee necklace on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. We loved the simplicity of the pendant and the delicate gold chain that accompanied it.

Want to copy her classic look? Get your own sparkly bee pendant here.

2. Beyonce

Was she doing a play on her own name, or was she just displaying her love for the humble bumblebee?

Either way, Beyonce hit a fashion home run with her sensational gold honeycomb ring. The unique piece featured the unmistakable shape of a honeycomb being visited by a black and gold bee.

Channel your inner Beyonce with our version of a beautiful bee ring.

3. Gemma Arterton

Actress Gemma Arterton made a splash at the premiere of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters in a stunning golden headband.

What made this headband so unique? Its delicate filigree was adorned with bumblebee designs!

It provided a lovely contrast to her dark hair, but we imagine this headband would look gorgeous no matter what your hair colour.

4. Freida Pinto

Gemma Arterton isn’t the only actress donning bee jewellery in her hair.

At the recent Cannes Film Festival, Fredia Pinto arrived with two dazzling bee brooches pinned near the nape of her neck. The brooches featured a dazzling display of gold and precious stones.

Why secure your hair with boring old bobby pins when you could use bee brooches instead?

The Best Bee Jewellery (and More)

Whether you love bees, horses, dogs, or all animals, there’s no better way to show it than through beautiful nature-inspired jewellery.

3 Qualities to Look for in Quality Equestrian Jewellery

Do you know someone who loves the countryside? Are they the person in your friend group or family who is always talking about getting away from the city?

Maybe this is due to the fact he or she grew up riding horses or tending to the land. Maybe you are that person in the group and you relate deeply to this description.

There truly is nothing like being immersed in the peace and quiet of the countryside. When you’re out and about, though, there are ways to keep a bit of this life with you.

Equestrian jewellery is a great way to express your love for horses, riding, and other barn activities. It’s a lovely addition to any outfit and a fun detail to share about yourself.

You just have to have an eye for picking out fine jewellery that is of true quality.

Here are three things to keep in mind as you shop for your ideal equestrian pieces.

1. A Timeless Design

Whether you are a fan of big bracelets or long necklaces, the most eye-catching aspect of any piece of jewellery is how it is designed. When it comes to equestrian jewellery, it has to be done just right.

A timeless jewellery design is something you will always be able to wear as trends come and go. While you’re shopping, think about the clothing items you would pair certain accessories with.

Also, consider if this is a causal jewellery item for day to day wear, or if you’d be able to dress up with it and wear it to a nice event.

2. A Unique Representation

As you’re looking through different jewellery options, consider what it is you like most about the equestrian lifestyle.

Are you looking for something that symbolizes the bond between a horse and its rider, like a hack pendant? Or, maybe for something simple like a design made of horseshoes or horse bits?

Both are beautiful representations of barn living and the passion for being around horses. But, you are sure to fancy one more than the other.

3. Style and Function

Although a piece’s design is what catches your eye, the way it fits is what will win you over.

Some jewellery items are simply outstanding, but they aren’t worth much if you know you won’t wear them often. You have to choose something that fits your style, and only you know exactly what that is.

At the same time, consider the function of the piece. There’s a big difference between a long necklace that is easy to slip on and off, for example, versus one that has a hook and clip to work.

Make sure all the items you’re thinking of purchasing will fit just right. Consider every detail from ring sizing to how wide a bracelet is and how it will be worn.

Find the Perfect Piece of Equestrian Jewellery

If you can’t wait to put these tips to use, all that’s left is to find a jeweller who specialises in equestrian jewellery. Luckily, you don’t have to go very far.

Our Gallop Collection and Country Collection are sure to have exactly what you’re looking for.

The Ultimate Guide to Snaffle Bit Jewellery

Every equestrian lover knows the classic symbols of barn life – like horseshoes, riding boots, and, of course, different kinds of bits. These are familiar items that can easily be found when riding and can create a bit of nostalgia whenever you see them elsewhere.

You may come across such symbols in an ad for a summer escape in the English countryside or on television for events such as the Olympia Horse Show.

Or, you can choose to sport a classic equestrian piece of jewellery to express your love for this activity. Such jewellery ranges from lovely riding necklaces and horseshoe pendants to all kinds of snaffle bit jewellery.

Snaffle bits are a well-known piece of riding equipment. Not to mention, they make a beautiful design for accessories.

You just have to know how to find the right design for you.

Here is your ultimate shopping guide for this kind of jewellery.

What Kind of Jewellery Do You Need?

Before you start to look at all the snaffle bit jewellery available, consider what kind of jewellery you actually need. This will help narrow down your options as you shop.

If you already have a pair of go-to earrings you wear every day, maybe you should look at necklaces with snaffle bits instead.

In a similar manner, if you aren’t much of a necklace or a bracelet person, stick with shopping for earrings. Just make sure you switch out what you usually wear to flaunt your new equestrian fashion.

What’s Your Favorite Jewellery Colour?

No matter how big your jewellery collection already is, chances are, you have more of one colour of jewellery than others.

Do you prefer silver, gold, or rose gold pieces? What will match best with the items you already have?

Such questions are crucial to keep in mind while looking at snaffle bit jewellery options. They will help you picture how you’re going to wear your new jewellery with the accessories you already have.

Do You Prefer a Simple Design or Something Bold?

Speaking of matching different jewellery items, don’t forget to picture how designs with snaffle bits will match with your fashion style in general.

You may choose to pair a simple necklace with your favourite sundress or t-shirt. Or, you might want to get a sparkly bit bracelet to dress up with on the weekends.

Whatever you decide, make sure your new jewellery is something you will have plenty of opportunities to wear. As nice as it can be to have a few statement pieces in your collection, it’s even better to be able to express your personality and passions on a regular basis.

Snaffle Bit Jewellery: The Perfect Accessory for Any Outfit

Whatever kind of snaffle bit jewellery you end up buying, one thing is for sure. You honestly cannot go wrong!

Use this guide as a starting point while shopping. But, don’t be afraid to bend the rules a bit and get a fancy piece for yourself, or another new pair of earrings even if you already have plenty.

At the end of the day, the choice is up to you, and with such beautiful items to choose from, you are sure to find an excuse to wear your equestrian jewellery.

5 Reasons Why We Love Country Animal Themed Jewellery

In the fashion world, 2017 brought us chunky chokers, oversized earrings and mineral inspired designs. But in 2018 fashion has turned to animalistic creations.

From gentle butterflies to wild beasts, supermodels hit the catwalk celebrating all the different faces of the animal kingdom in their jewellery pieces, especially animals that we find in the countryside!

Are you ready to take on this cute, yet enchanting new trend?

Read on for 5 reasons why we love country animal themed jewellery.

1. It’s Great for Animal Lovers

If you’re a big animal fan, animal-themed jewellery is a must-have accessory.

Naturally, we love animals because we can relate to their funny personalities, especially dogs and cats. The animals we look after in our own home, or ones we meet whilst trekking the countryside can become creatures we come to love and cherish.

If you really love animals and have the wonderful opportunity of working with them, a pretty statement piece of jewellery can even identify your choice of occupation. For example a dog breeder.

2. It’s Unique and Trendy

You’ll definitely step into the spotlight with these trendy pieces.

If you want to make a statement country animal inspired jewellery is the way to go. Not only is it trendy and totally in fashion, but it will always spark interest from others.

Traditional or standard looking jewellery, although pretty, can almost fade into your outfit without anyone even noticing it. But an animal-themed piece will stand out and cause the viewer to do a double take and almost definitely make a comment about it.

3. It Can Bring Back Happy Memories

The best kind of jewellery is something that brings back cherished memories. Like the memories of a beloved childhood pet, or from a country holiday you had once.

For example, when you won that horse jumping competition. A beautiful jumping horse pendant will enable you to cherish and celebrate that happy memory.

Or when you visited Scotland on holiday and saw a lone stag leaping across the misty hills.

Yes, these pretty jewellery pieces can help you to hold onto those cherished memories forever.

4. It Celebrates the Best of British

Although England isn’t a tropical country, we sometimes forget about the abundance of wildlife that is here.

From sweet robins and sleek foxes to cute hedgehogs and impressive galloping deer, the British countryside certainly has a lot to offer. Not only the animals but also plants and flowers such as tulips, daisies and even acorns can be made into delicate pieces.

We love jewellery that is inspired by the best of British wildlife.

5. It’s a Lovely Gift

The best kind of gifts means something to the receiver. If your friend has a beloved pet or a particular soft spot for a certain animal, you can give them a cute design in their favourite animal. For charm collectors, it’s also a lovely gift.

It’s also a great keepsake to give one of your friends or family members who has lost a beloved pet. Whether it’s their pet dog, cat or horse that has unfortunately passed away, there’s no better gift than a pretty charm for a bracelet or a ring to remember them by.

We Love Country Animal Jewellery!

Yes, we are totally in love with animal inspired jewellery and we are sure you will be too!

If you take on this new trend, you’ll not only be in fashion, but you’ll be the envy of all your friends.
